Description
A Muffle Furnace in other words a Muffle oven is a heating chamber (furnace) in what the subject material is segregated from the fuel together with the outputs of combustion, along with gases and flying ash. After the development of high temperature elements as well as widespread electrification in developed countries, muffle furnaces started quickly shifting to electric models from oil.
In the electrical Muffle Furnaces the byproducts of heating are insignificant for most testing processes. Electrical Muffle Furnaces heat by conduction, blackbody radiation or convection processes. None of which create combustion byproducts & now such design allows greater temperature uniformity and assure separation of the heated materials from the combustion impurities.

Important Notes :
- To ensure long life of the furnace, a maximum heating rate of 10°C per minute must be maintained. Cooling rate also not to cross 10°C /min.
- This Muffle Furnace not having a vacuum sealing, We don’t recommended to use toxic & explosive substances without enough safety controls & supervision.
- Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics. It’s normal, nothing to worry, you can repair it with alumina coating.
