Description
A Muffle Furnace (alternatively called muffle / retort furnace) in other words a Muffle oven is a heating chamber (furnace) in what the sample substance is separated from the fuel and all the produces of combustion, including gases and flying ash. After the development of high temperature heating technology together with massive electrification of the developed countries, muffle furnaces quickly moved to electric option.
In electric Muffle Furnaces the resultant byproducts of heating are imperceptible for most processes. An electric Muffle Furnace heats by conduction, convection, or blackbody radiation processes. None of them generate combustion byproducts and these designs now allow much greater control of temperature uniformity and assure isolation of the heated material from combustion contaminants.

Important Notes :
- Sometime small cracks may occur on the surface of the refractory ceramics chamber. It is quite natural for continious exposure to high temperature, it can be fixed with alumina coating.
- This Muffle Furnace is not having a vacuum sealed system, not recommended to use toxic or explosive gasses without necessary safety controls & supervision.
- To preserve longivity of the furnace, maximum 10 °C /minute heating rate is advised. Cooling rate also not to cross 10°C /min.
