Description

A Muffle Furnace (muffle kiln) or a Muffle oven is a heating chamber (furnace) in what the subject material is separated from the fuel along with the products of combustion, together with gases and flying ash. After the development of high temperature heating technology along with mass electrification of developed coutries, muffle furnaces moved from oil to electric as fuel.

In electrically heated Muffle Furnaces the heating byproducts (i.e. byproducts caused by the heating process) are imperceptible for most processes. An electric Muffle Furnace heats by convection, blackbody radiation or conduction processes. None of them generate combustion byproducts and these designs now allow much better control of temperature uniformity and reassure removal of the heated materials from the combustion impurities.

Important Notes :

• Sometime small cracks may occur on the surface of the refractory ceramics chamber. It is very common and can easily be repaired (with alumina coating).
• This Muffle Furnace’s chamber is not vacuum sealed, We don’t recommended to use toxic & explosive substances without enough safety controls & supervision.
• To give long life to the furnace, maximum 10 °C /minute heating rate is advised. Cooling rate should also not exceed 10 °C /min.
